After over a decade of working to advance progressive policies for our UW campus, City, and State,

I’m running to work for you, District 1.

I was raised in Wisconsin by my mom, an accountant for nonprofits, and my dad, a small business owner. They taught me to be engaged in our local community.

From a young age, I have been involved in local issues, and initiatives to protect civil rights. For the past 12 years, I’ve lived by those values in our downtown community.

Currently, I work to advance progressive policies in our state government, volunteer in local committees and organizations, and serve as Vice President of our neighborhood association.

More about my background:

  • I work for a Democratic state senator, advancing progressive policies in our state government and pushing back against vindictive Republican initiatives

  • As a Vice Chair of the Democratic Party of Dane County, I work to elect Democrats to the state legislature and governor’s office, and progressives to the Supreme Court

  • I am the Vice President of Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc. where I serve our neighbors by connecting them to their communities and their government

  • I stand up for small businesses and look out for the health, safety, and wellbeing of our community as a public member appointed by Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway on the Madison Alcohol License Review Committee

  • I am a member of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals, where I guide community members on voting and political advocacy

  • I helped doctors join the front line response to the COVID-19 pandemic in my previous work at the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services

  • I eased costs for students as Student Services Finance Committee Chair of the Associated Students of Madison. I led the successful transition from expensive course management systems to a single system, Canvas
