WORT: Dane County should provide civil legal aid, Colin Barushok says

Cap Times Interview
When The Cap Times asked “How would you work to bridge gaps between city and county resources, departments and agencies?” Colin Responded:
“I would search for creative ways to find intergovernmental cooperation and join the services of city and county services in order to find efficiencies I look after. My hometown is Kenosha, and they have Kenosha County Joint Services, where they are able to share resources to perform maintenance on city and county vehicles. I would go through the budget, find ways that we can work together between the city and county, and then actually, if we do, find ways to consolidate city and county services that may qualify the county for an Innovation Grant, which is a pool of money that was set aside by 2023 Act 12 to kind of incentivize these intergovernmental cooperations.”
